Prior to joining Forethought, Matt Putz worked at the AI Office at the European Commission. Before that he was a grant-maker on Coefficient Giving’s Global Catastrophic Risk Capacity Building team and co-founded ARENA, an ML-upskilling program fro people interested in AI safety.
He studied Engineering Science at the Technical University of Munich, with a specialization in ML.
