Undergraduate Thesis Prize in Global Priorities Research
The Forethought Foundation for Global Priorities Research is happy to announce its thesis prize for promising undergraduates of the academic year 2018-2019, focusing on questions in global priorities research.
The prize will be awarded on the basis of the candidate's ability to produce and communicate insights relevant to the problem of global prioritisation, as demonstrated by their undergraduate thesis, dissertation, or other substantive work forming part of their graduation semester. We accept applications from all universities in the fields of economics and philosophy. For more information on potential thesis topics, please see our research areas, or, for a more comprehensive overview, the Global Priorities Institute Research agenda. Applications are open to anyone who submitted or is about to submit their undergraduate thesis in the academic year 2018 - 2019.
The prize winners will be awarded £2,000. Your thesis will also be featured on the Forethought Foundation website. The number of awards will depend on the quality of the applications we receive.
How to enter
Candidates can apply below. You need to fill out a short form with some questions regarding your thesis, and submit an electronic copy of your work. All submissions should be made before 1 July 2019.
